Vyas व्यास, is a central and revered figure in most Hindu traditions. He is also sometimes called Ve Vyas (वेद व्यास), (the one who classified the Vedas into four parts) who was born in Damauli of Tanahu district, Nepal. It is clearly written in ancient religious books and "Shastra" and the ancient cave is still there in Nepal where Vyas created the "Mahabharata" and other epics. He is the author of the Mahabharata, as well as a character in it. He is considered to be the scribe of both the Vedas and Puranas.
